Jest Improv's Sketch Comedy Troupe Audition!

Love writing, performing, and making people laugh? Come on down and audition for our new sketch comedy troupe!

Have the chance to be a paid performer and have a ton of fun with a great group of people!

 

If you have improv/performing experience and are looking to join a sketch comedy troupe in the Ventura area then come on out to our audition! All performers will be asked to perform five minutes of characters/stand up material for the first half of the audition, and there will be an improv segment with everyone in the second half.

 

Prefer to write? Email us a packet of your original sketches that gives us a sense of your comedic style, voice, and range. Please send it to alex@jestimprov.com

 

We’re looking for people who are collaborative, creative, and excited to make funny things with a group. No particular comedy background is required — just bring your unique perspective and a willingness to play.

 

The troupe will be getting together consistently on Wednesday nights so please make sure that night is consistently available going into the audition! Shows will idealy be held every other month.

 

We will only have one audition date/time: October 28th at 7 pm. No resume/headshot required for these auditions. Audition will be taking place at the Bunker Theater in Ventura (2750 East Main Street Unit B2). RSVP will be required in order to audition.
