Jest Improv Auditions!

Open Auditions for our Improv Troupes are Here!

Have the chance to be a paid performer and have a ton of fun with a great group of people!

If you have improv/performing experience and are looking to join a performing troupe in the Ventura area then come on out to our auditions! This will be a very low-stress environment for improvisers to come out and have fun with their scenework.

 

We will have various troupes that will be available to audition for including:

  • An age 50+ troupe (Name of troupe TBD)

  • A Theater Sports troupe (Name of troupe TBD)

  • An all LGBTQ+ troupe (Name of troupe TBD)

  • The Jesties (Jest Improv's Mainstage Longform performing troupe)

  • The Jest Hers (Jest Improv's all-female performing troupe)

 

We will only have two audition dates/times: August 18th at 4pm and August 28th at 7pm. No resume/headshot required for these auditions. Auditions will be taking place at the Bunker Theater in Ventura (2750 East Main Street Unit B2). RSVP will be required in order to audition.

The Bunker Theater is located downstairs in Unit B2. If you are entering from the Smart and Final parking lot please go through the glass doors on the left in front of the Thrift Shop and go down the stairs. You will see the theater on your left after you go down the stairs (across from the Martial Arts studio). If you are entering from Main Street (through the Ballet Studio) please go down the stairs and go through their main lobby. Once you are through the lobby you will take a right into the hallway and soon you will see the theater on your right.
